happiness is not happiness at any cost

Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. Often thats all we choose to see... but when we really look we see that good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people too. There is no one to blame and no reason for it. It sucks and its f#$%'d right up. But at the end of the day you always have 2 choices. Let that not so great thing effect you positively or let it rule your life negatively. Use it as an excuse for why you can be bad or use it as a reason for why your better. Or only see the negatives or take the negative for what it is compared to all the good things! Your alive if your reading this so theirs one thing to look at positively. Look I've already started for you! So smile, your not crazy, and life can be shitty. But start seeing the forest for the trees and realizing what you have is pretty damn good instead of looking at what you don't have and maybe, just maybe... Life might get a little better <3 xo

this is my brother two years ago. we were at the park, just me and him, and he turned to me and said “kayla, don’t you ever wish there were no bad people in the world?” i thought it to be a funny thing for a 5 year old to say, but shrugged it off. last year, he didnt come home from school, we thought that being only in grade prep, he might’ve decided to go home with his bestfriend without telling us, but he didn’t. the school confirmed they saw him get on his school bus after the bell rang. but thats all we knew, the bus driver said that he had gotten off a stop early, my mother was frantically searching the neighbourhood for him. we never found him. it’s been two years and we’re still looking for him, he was such a beautiful boy, and i cant help but think the worst. he could be anywhere in the world by now, so please, reblog this, no matter where you’re from, you could save a life. xx
